Kitchen Gadgets and Appliances
I can create and cook to the moon and back when I have my favorite kitchen gadgets! Most of these items are essentials for me in my high raw food, vegan home and some are just really fun to play with.

Vitamix Blender
I’ve been using Vitamix blenders for about 10 years in cafes and in my home. My housemates and I use our blender collectively about 4-6 times a day. They are incredible machines! I’ve used the 5200, the turbo and some of the newer models and I love all of them. I prefer it to Blendtec, because it has a simple dial for speed and not electronic buttons. Plus the warranty and return policies are the best!

Ninja Blender
Vitamix is my first choice for blenders, but this would be my second and is much more affordable if you’re on a budget. I don’t personally own one, but I have used them in friend’s homes and I have to say they work surprisingly well and are durable.

Cuisinart Food Processor
I used my first Cuisinart Food Processor 9 years ago when I was working at a raw food cafe. It’s been my go-to choice ever since!

Tribest Greenstar Juicer
I use this juicer in my home a couple times a week. It makes an amazingly pure juice with minimal oxidization. I love to make green juices with it and veggie broth for soup. You can also use it with the blank plate to make fruit sorbets or pulp for making dehydrated crackers. This machine is like the Vitamix for me - it feels like a sturdy beast!

Tribest Slowstar Juicer
If you’re in the market for a high quality juicer that doesn’t look like a huge beast on your countertop, this is a good option. I’ve used this one is friends homes and it will probably be the next juicer I try out for my home. The juice was very good quality, again with minimal oxidization.

Tribest Citristar Juicer
Tribest is one of my favorite brands for juicing, even when it comes to citrus. I purchased this juicer when I lived in Arizona and I found myself with an abundance of cheap citrus of all varieties. The speed of this machine is perfect and unlike a lot of other citrus juicers, this one has a backsplash to help contain the juice. I’ve used others since this one and that is my number one complaint, the juice ends up spraying all over. This one will keep you covered! 😉

Exacalibur Dehydrator
If you’re considering going fully raw, or you just really love experimenting and playing in the kitchen, then this is a fun toy to have. There is no end to what you can make with it. I’ve made raw cinnamon rolls, crackers, raw wraps, dried fruit and veggies.

Vegetable Spiralizer
Noodles are totally necessary in my opinion on a raw food or vegan diet! I love that I can make zucchini noodles with delicious fresh sauces on them and even create spiral french fries or roasted veggies. It’s a really versatile and fun kitchen gadget.

Ceramic Knives and Peeler Set
I love this little set! I bought it for myself as a Christmas present last year and it’s been a perfect addition to my knives. The ceramic has remained fairly sharp and the color is really beautiful. I like using ceramic knives to cut fruits and veggies, because it helps prevent oxidization.

Acacia Wooden Bowls
One of the top questions I get asked is where I get my wooden bowls. These are the ones I have and I love them. I’ve tried using bamboo, because it’s a more sustainable material, but all the ones I’ve tried end up breaking somehow. I prefer bamboo for some things, but for bowls I like acacia wood.

Bamboo Chopsticks
Chopsticks are a great way to eat slower, be more mindful and let your food hit bottom before you shovel it all in.
