Doesn’t this look like a pretty little layered cake?  I think so :)  It was a really yummy meal that’s perfect to bring to a potluck or party.  You could flavor the filling any way you want… carob and dates, cinnamon and dates, I chose to do carrot, cinnamon and dates.  It only takes a few minutes to make them so give these sweet, fresh and crunchy bites a try!

Ingredients:

2 Apples

8 Medjool Dates

3/4 Cup of Chopped Carrot

1/3 Tsp  Cinnamon

Hi megan, I'm new to raw food, inspired by you :) but how do I know when dates are raw, I read on internet that a lot of time the cook dates in sugar before the dry them.. Do I have to look for fresh dates? Or how to find good dates, maybe sun dried and without sugar on them. Thanks a lot! Greetings Marijke

Hey Megan! I love your videos...very entertaining. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this recipe. It was super super easy to make, not to mention tasty. It looks really nice plated up too.
